Field Place Pottery – Terms & Conditions

1. Gift Voucher Redemption

• Gift vouchers can only be redeemed by the person in possession of the original voucher or the unique booking number. Please bring your voucher or booking number with you to your session.

• Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within this period.

• If you do not attend your booked session and have not notified us in advance, 20% of the voucher's full value will be charged to cover the cost of the reserved space.

• If you are unable to attend due to a medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a rebooking where possible.

2. Cancellations by You

All cancellations must be made in writing by email to:

3. Missed Weekly Classes

We understand that sometimes you may need to miss a class due to circumstances that are unavoidable, such as serious illness, an accident, a medical appointment, a funeral or a family emergency.

If You Miss a Class for an Unavoidable Reason

Please first try to arrange a class swap for another day.

If you are unable to arrange a swap, please email jess@jessicajordanceramics.com and let us know the reason for your absence. Where possible, we will do our best to help you make up the missed class.

If You Miss a Class for Another Reason

For absences due to holidays, social events, lunches, children's activities or other planned commitments, you may arrange one class swap per term.

Any additional missed sessions beyond your one permitted swap will need to be paid for in full.

All swaps must be agreed and booked with us in advance. This allows us to check that there is space available in the alternative session.

If you arrange a swap but do not attend the replacement session, that session will be considered used and we will not be able to arrange another replacement.

Additional Make-Up Sessions

We offer a Tuesday afternoon session from 2:00pm–4:30pm, which may be used as a make-up session for an agreed class swap, subject to availability.

Please contact us in advance to arrange your session.

Important Information

• A missed class cannot be transferred or gifted to a friend or family member.

• Missed classes cannot be carried forward into the following term.

• Class swaps must be agreed and booked in advance.

• A replacement session that has been booked but not attended cannot be rearranged.

4. Cancellations – Weekly Classes

All cancellations for weekly classes must be made in writing by email.

If you wish to cancel your place for the following term, we require at least one month's notice before the end of the current term. This allows us enough time to offer your place to another student.

If the required notice is not given, the fees for the following term will be payable in full.

5. Cancellations – Workshops and Courses

Cancellation charges for workshops and courses are as follows:

• More than 15 days before the start date: 20% of the course fee.

• 8–14 days before the start date: 50% of the course fee.

• Within 7 days of the start date: 100% of the course fee.

• Non-attendance: 100% of the course fee remains payable.

These cancellation charges reflect the fact that places are reserved specifically for you and may be difficult to fill at short notice.
